Imphal, Jan 3 : A volleyball tournament was organised by Hqs 27 Sector Assam Rifles under Hqs IGAR(South) from December 31, 2008 to January 1 at Churachandpur town for the youth of Zou Veng locality.
A total of six teams took part in the tournament.
Hqs 27 Sector AR provided sports items like volleyball net and prizes for the winners and runners up and also consolation prizes for all the participants.
A friendly match was also played between the troops of Hqs 27 Sector AR and Churachandpur youths.
