IMPHAL, Feb 6 : The Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association is organising a state level seminar on the theme "Sagol Kangjei and Manipuri pony" on February 17 and 18 at the State Guest House in Imphal.
The purpose of the seminar is to refresh our knowledge about the sport Sagol Kangjei and the Manipuri pony. Many scholars, academicians, intellectuals and practitioners of the game in the state are contributing papers at the seminar.
The association is hoping that the outcome of the seminar would be to enable the association to publish an authentic book on Manipuri polo and the Manipuri pony which would have world wide circulation, and for this purpose the association has asked for contributions from one and all who consider they have something to contribute to the venture.
