D Loli Adanee to be BJP’s Outer Manipur candidate

IMPHAL, Mar 25 : After the announcement of Manipur Inner parliamentary constituency candidate by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the upcoming 15th Lok Sabha elections, the party in-charge for north east, Sekhar Rao today announced D Loli Adanee as the party’s Outer Manipur seat candidate to the media media.

The announcement was made at a meeting attended by Sekhar Rao at the party office at Nitaipat Chuthek in Imphal. He further said that the decision was taken after a discussion with the BJP central committee.

He also added that the present Outer Manipur MP, Mani Charanamei was as good as a Congress MP as his works were always in support of the Congress while charging that Charanamei might be having a secret relation with the Congress as he was neither neutral nor in the opposition. He always supported the works of the UPA, as was evident in the past during the debate on the nuclear deal and also other instances.

On yesterday’s incident of killing of a non-local shop owner at his own shop in the heart of the city, he said that it showed that the government led by O Ibobi Singh had totally failed and was out of control, adding that wherever the Congress led the government there was political unstability.

H Borbabu, the president of the BJP Manipur state stated that despite people starting to dislike the Congress, they themselves had a different opinion in the party as regarding the ticket for elections the Centre had a different view from the state and the state only followed the orders of the centre.

The centre put up Dr. T Meinya as their Inner candidate whereas the O Ibobi government wanted another person. How would the people like a party where there was internal crisis, he added.

W Nipamacha, ex-CM who is the Inner candidate for the party expressed that the CPI which was in collusion with the Congress in forming the government had put up a candidate which showed they had a unhealthy difference of opinion within the government.
